O'Brien's Tower

The Cliffs of Moher is a long line of cliffs raising straight up from the Atlantic Ocean on the coast of County Clare in Ireland. Marking the tallest point along the cliffs, 214 metres above the sea, is O'Brien's Tower. The tower was built by Sir Cornellius O'Brien in 1835. It is unclear whether he built the tower as an observation post for the Victorian tourists that were visiting during that time or if it was to impress one or more of the ladies. The Cliffs of Moher is widely known for it's fantastic view. From the tower one can enjoy this wiev in all it's glory.
